Trim Electrician

Here is an opportunity for lead electricians with experience performing trim installations at new construction residential homes in Viera, FL. Must have knowledge of NEC code, tools, and a valid driver’s license. The location for the projects is in Central Brevard County.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Perform basic wiring duties for trim at new construction homesites
  • Comply with NEC Codes
  • Trouble-shoot single-phase installation
  • Work from ladders
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, appliances, equipment and fixtures
  • Perform panel installations
  • Inspect electrical systems; adjust or repair to ensure compliance with codes
  • Document job material usage accurately and efficiently
  • Troubleshoot any electrical systems inside the home and correct the issue
  • Maintain an organized job site
  • Input materials and labor into an electronic tablet daily
  • Read blueprints and builder option sheets
  • Lead and develop apprentice electricians
  • Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday

Job Knowledge

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in residential electrical new build and/or remodels
  • Experienced in operating hand tools/equipment
  • Experienced at troubleshooting electrical circuitry problems

Requirements

  • Have 3 years of experience in residential trim
  • Ability to follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems
  • Ability to operate an electronic tablet
  • Experience working with hand tools, power tools and electronic test equipment Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as the ability to complete a company-specific safety orientation
  • Ability to troubleshoot on the job
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism
  • Have personal hand tools
  • Be able to pass background checks (Criminal, Motor Vehicle and Drug Screening)

Electrical Installer

We are also in need of an experienced and skilled Installer tech for our Brevard County location. As an Installer tech, you will be responsible for residential electrical installations ensuring their successful completion within specified timelines and quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety. If you meet the requirements and are passionate about leading electrical projects, do submit your resume, certifications, and any relevant references.

 

Responsibilities

  • Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
  • Train and mentor junior electricians, promoting their professional development.
  • Identify potential risks or issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in electrical systems is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a lead electrician or in a similar supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, clients, and contractors.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces or heights.
  • Valid driver’s license.
